Tabaarak is an independent educational app presenting natural Islamic eating principles. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Tabaarak does not collect:

• Camera images or barcode scan results
• Health data, dietary information, or fasting logs
• Payment or financial information
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs

3. Data Stored on Your Device

Tabaarak stores the following data locally on your device only, using your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device:

• Fasting logs — dates you marked as fasted
• Language preference — Arabic or English
• Disclaimer acceptance — whether you accepted the terms

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data or reinstalling the app.

4. Camera / Barcode Scanner

The barcode scanner feature requests access to your camera. No images are recorded, stored, or transmitted. The camera feed is processed locally in your browser in real time and immediately discarded. We never see your camera data.

5. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the app and which features they use. Google Analytics collects anonymized, aggregated data such as page views, session duration, and approximate geographic region. It does not identify you personally.

You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Third-Party Services

• Google Fonts — loads fonts from Google's servers (subject to Google's privacy policy)
• Buy Me a Coffee — if you choose to donate, you are redirected to buymeacoffee.com, which has its own privacy policy. We do not handle any payment data.
• Netlify — hosts the app and may log standard web server access logs (IP addresses, timestamps)

7. Children's Privacy

Tabaarak is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
